Yesterday was an eventful day. Having three dance items on the same day can be quite stressful...haha even though i'm only in one of it. But the makeup part. just traumatising. Haha. Though in the end, we still had fun. We came to school at 7am to prepare and realised we had to hurry cos the eyeshadow department was taking far too long. heh heh. Luckily we made it in time...to wait about 30mins for the GOH. It was rather exciting! Xiuxiania and I were so absorbed in perfecting their positions to notice that the GOH has arrived. So we were rushing to find a hiding place. Then in the middle of the dance, the potted plant suddenly said, "SMILE!!!" Gosh i wonder if the juniors were freaked out. It was good, from the back. But the teacher said they smiled so i guess it should be fine. One down. Two more to go. Run back. Change Change Change. We didn't get to watch it this time, but it was very qi. I forgot who told me that. haha. hai so relieved. good job juniors!:D Two down. One more to go.We still had some time to walk around before preparing for 12.15pm. So i bought a sandwich from one of the stalls. Haha a sandwich made by michelle lim:D so cool. oh yeah and the saddening thing was that i forgot to bring my coupon. which means the whole $4 was just wasted on a piece of paper! woohoo. while waiting, we talked about alot of random + lame stuff. well, not WE. just Geraldinamani. OH that's the time when she got her name too! Celestetuba made it for her. And Celestetuba's name was given by Eudeavathy. Or was it Eudeabathy. Xiuxiania joined us in the name-making too. [common practice on this blog to omit embarrassing details of the blogger's life. Therefore, my new name shall not be disclosed.] Who started it??? Must be Geraldinamani. who else? Haha she is one hilarious person. Ye laoshi is very amused by her. Now her name's in the making too=P Soon, we started packing our stuff and preparing to leave. We brought about 5 extra boxes and 2 extra fires. HAHA. better to be safe than sorry. I was praying and praying that the fires won't be in a bad mood and die on me. They are somewhat unpredictable.At about 12.30, the bus left for Victoria. ooh so exciting! haha i must have got that from somebody. The bus has some kind of chui1 mian2 powers. i think all of us (Geraldinamani + Eudeavathy + Celestetuba + moi) slept on the bus. After i finally dozed off, we reached Victoria. We got the props and went inside. While sitting in the audience seats, I checked that i brought everything then i realised we didn't have enough wristbands:-O I went into a big frenzy so Geraldinamani and i counted and found some old ones amongst the hair ties. If we really didn't have, i'd just faint. Haha no la. i'll just use the hair ties. then we started rehearsing. Mark positions. Test the lightings. Test the sound. Gosh the lightings were blinding me. I felt so giddy. I couldn't dance properly. Then i was so worried that i couldn't do my best during the real thing. The more i worried, the more mistakes i made. Whoa so traumatising. if i was seen during rehearsal, i would be making a mistake like every minute. okay every second. Cos the stage lights were shining in front of us...beside us. haha they're supposed to be like that. but still. So after the rehearsal, we went to our makeup room. ahhhh. it was teeny weeny. But we got 2 rooms in the end. After that we went for dinner. I took off my shoes and i didn't feel very well again. Maybe cos the floor was icy cold and i couldn't take it. My mum says that coldness enters your body by your ankles...feet...and something. We went up to rest before applying lipstick and eyeliner. i slept for a while, no idea how long. Haha i almost forgot about the wristbands and hair ties. gosh. what is wrong with me. We were supposed to get ready backstage at 7.30pm. so we did warmups...had a costume check. lalala. and went down. i was awkwardly calm. a little excited. okay it's a mix. i think it's mostly calm. maybe i was too scared until i became calm. Okay that was it. I always feel scared like one minute before it starts. then i'll have no time to feel scared. i'm not making sense right. Oh oh and when the fires were supposed to be turned out i was like, "please please please work." I was praying and praying that all of them will work. In the end, everything was alright. Phew. thank goodness. And we didn't lose anything! not really. Though I must remember to comb stage area immediately after the dance on wednesday. It was fun fun fun. Why is it that the most draining day is always the funnest? HAHA. I got a lift from Geraldinamani's mum to eat at Macs. i remember where it is! it's jurong street 24.. haha. omg she was hilarious. it's a miracle how i finished the fillet-o-fish when i was laughing at whatever she said. and you know, she never stops talking. I told Ye laoshi that if one day she sat at one corner quietly, i'd be very worried. HAHA. yes yes. Must study the whole day today. Cos next tues and wed would be as tiring and breathless. cos i'll have no time to breathe. okay i must stop being lame. geraldinamani! all your fault! haha jkjk:DLabels: Dance, Happy days
